As far as I can think bank, I guess it was the brown ones in 3" and 3.5". The crimps would come apart allowing the buffer to leak out, and then the buffer would get into the guns action and other moving parts and caused some slight problems. The biggest problems I have with them was the rim of the brass getting bummed and dinged and my gun not being able to grab the shell to unload or eject after shot.

I have experienced same problems with Hevi-13 Rem Hevi-shot and Nitro.....Use glue or candle wax to fix the problem.

Nope but I have had that problem with the winchester supremes. Must be a common problem with most "turkey loads".

I have had that happen to mine I started putting some glue on them with a tooth pick to fill the crimp. Then I put a coat of finger nail polish on them. Works good for me.

Every box I had of the older Remington Hevi leaked buffer. I always put glue on them. I got some hevi 13 a couple years ago for my daughter to shoot. I didn't check them and they leaked buffer in the magazine. It was so bad that I couldn't unload the gun. When we got home, I checked all the shells and some were not only leaking buffer but had shot coming out too.

Had two Mag blends that the crimp failed last year. I noticed one prior to use, but the other was one that wasn't noticed until my partner shot. Sounded like a .22 going off. Thankfully, he was able to get off a second shot.
I will try the glue trick on all of them from now on.

I know of about a dozen local gobblers that have had some major problems out of them!
