That's a lot of lost tax dollars for the state of Pennsylvania.  Harrisburg, PA, which is the site of the show, is in Dauphin County, PA. Dauphin County voted 52% for Obama and 46% for Romney. Karma, perhaps?

Too bad we can't have that effect on crooked politicians.

It is not just tax dollars. I worked that show for over ten years. Motels, eateries and a variety of things almost depended on that show for an early spring boost. The economic impact is huge-way into the millions.
I really believe this is the outdoor industries' finest hour. It is an in your face "I fed up and I'm not going to take it any more." I hope this will send a message to the pols. However, sadly, I realize that it is not about guns and they probably do not care.

I am really surprised they chose to cancel the show instead of given in an allow the "black" guns. Just makes no since to me.

Reed also manages the SHOT Show for the NSSF. It will be interesting to see if the NSSF gets someone else to manage it for them.

The NSSF has issued a statement, basically saying they are taking a wait and see approach to just that.
