Ok tonight tried rabbit for the first time. I like it. Fried it like chicken. Need more suggestions please.

BBQ ,boil it to get tender,then into the oven with bbq sauce

Here is my favorite rabbit recipe (also my wife's favorite wild game recipe: http://gocarnivore.com/2013/01/09/hunting-for-rabbit-and-dumplings/
You can make the dumplings with Bisquick if you want to simplify the recipe some.
For frying, I highly recommend that you brine the rabbit first as opposed to the boiling method.

One way I like it is cooked down in a red gravy. then you can serve it over pasta or rice.

When I spent time in Italy, we were served some sort of roasted (or braised?) rabbit that was incredible. I recently asked one of the guys we visited to see if he might have a guess about the recipe. CONIGLIO (Rabbit) ALLA CACCIATORA is what he came back with. There's a ton of recipes online in Italian, but I would imagine any critter cacciatore recipe would substitute rabbit just fine.

Yeah, Cacciatore will work for any game. Its a braise method. I've done it with Pheasant numerous times.
