I believe its gong to be at least a year at the earliest before shelves will be fully stocked again. The reason for that is that just as quick as ammo hits the shelves it is bought. People have now learned what an ammo drought is and dont think they wont be stocking up and hoarding from now until the rest of their lives.
Seriously, if you are a .22 shooter are you ever going to have less than a couple of big boxes of ammo from now on?
Its just going to take awhile for supply to catch up with demand.
The sad thing is that many people wont learn from this and the next time theres any type of proposed gun legislation and the panic buying begins, they will be stuck again with no ammo.
