And, as an added benefit, he said it made a NOTICEABLE difference on his feet getting cold. I guess not having direct contact with the metal stand was the difference.
I had never thought of that association until it was mentioned by several people this year. I bet there is a great deal of merit to that idea.

A lot of people in my county are already doing this by having them in their stands. Oh, wait, those are still in their trucks.LOL. thanks for the tip

Go ahead and attach it to your stand now if you have a fixed stand. By next season the deer wont think about it even if theres some stink left in it.

Good idea, Ive used old carpet in the past to help feet from getting cold but this mobile mat would work great.

I forget the hunter (some famous one...maybe greg or stan) but they would hang a piece of carpet upside down by there stand to have when they got there.
Upside down so snow and ice wouldn't pile up on the part you intended to stand on.
