This appears to be an agenda being pushed by the "deer farmers" who are raising (or wanting to raise) deer like cattle.

I wonder if they have a conservation committee in their legislature, or if that has been merged with their agriculture committee.
What you are seeing does not affect Tennessee right now, but if we are not vigilant, it may in the future. I hope the hunters and fishermen in New Jersey are incensed enough to put a stop to that. The last thing we need is wildlife resources being treated like agricultural resources!
