Going through some pictures yesterday and came across one of me with a buck I apparently killed. It is not a huge buck but not bad. Sad part is, I have no idea when or where I killed him.
That sucks.

That's what happens when you kill a pile of nice deer over a span of years. For those of us that can count the "good" ones on one hand, it isn't near the problem.

Easy fix:
Grab a pen, add a date and location, put back in storage.
In a few years when you pull it back out again, your addled mind will forget that you forgot, and all will be well in the world :D:D:D

That reminded me of some old photos that my mother left behind. She had identified the people in the pictures by writing their names either on the pictures or on the back. On one group photo she had written a list of names on the back with the following note: "But I don't think that's right."

Worse is finding a pic of a hunter with a buck and not knowing who it is nor where it was taken, then finding out it's yourself!
