dig a hole, place dog or cat in, cover up who would know the difference but you dogs and cats should not be out roaming not that I dislike dogs or cats, but a good owner would make sure there animals arent running around and possibly causing damage to others property or even worse bitting a young child playing in their own yard, dont mean to be harsh, but thats the truth

Thanks Nimrod777, although this is a serious matter to me, I am grateful for the humor! I love Tndeer ! You have a good point!
My point, hidden in there, was that with today's soft-grip traps, any domestic animal caught will be much less likely to suffer anything much beyond humiliation and loss of respect from its peers, and should be able to be release in good condition. If you inform your good neighbors of what you are doing to control coyotes, and if you keep silent to your idjit neighbors about the same info, you should be in good shape.
