My advice: Change the electoral vote layout, or forget it... The heavy electoral vote states seem to have something in common which is blatent ignorance to the end result of what they are begging for which is to have big brother do everything for em 
I think that's way beyond the control of the GOP. Seriously - everyone here complaining about Obama and the Democrats and the Republicans and America in general ought to go to that link and vent and offer up a suggestion or two to the GOP about how they could do better in future elections. It's not necessarily what will get you to vote for them - it's what will get more Americans to vote for them so they can avoid what happened back in November.
