If you don't want to mess with it, I can try it later, as it's on my work comp but not here at home, but so far it's been a good replacement. I used to use Zamzar, but they broke trust with YouTube or something, and were no longer compatible.
For YouTube use, I just make sure vdownloader is open on my comp, go to any YouTube vid I want, highlight the address and click copy, and it automatically goes into the vdownloader. Then click download or save or whatever it is, and it will save it directly into your comp.
If it weren't easy, I wouldn't be able to use it.
Hey, that would be great since I'm so technically challenged.

Well, Gil, it has me stumped. Not that it takes much. But since this is an embedded video, integrated into a page rather than the entire page being the video itself (as on YouTube), vdownloader can't grab it, that I'm aware of.
Hopefully some tech geek at Channel 5 can tell you what to do.

Nashville Man Captures Coyote on Video
I downloaded the video with Realplayer and then uploaded it back to youtube. I tried to email it but it gave me a msg about needing to convert to a different format and I know nothing about converting.
