I order mine directly from them. Just make sure you prep the surface and don't paint in the cold. The nozzle stops up if paint is cold.

I am going to try to "paint" mine with some bed liner spray I bought at walmart. My hope is it will reduce noise when I do "clang" something against it.

I'll let you know. Someone told me that is pretty much what the Summit "dead metal" stands are coated with. I don't know that for sure, as I have never handled one of them.

I've used the spray bedliner stuff uite a bit, it's not a bad choice - but it's not near as durable as the powdercoat that comes on stands from the factory.

I put the felt pads that go on the bottom of furniture legs on the contact points of my climber when carrying in and out. Works really good.

I have thought of getting spray insulation foam and a long tube to spray inside of my summit tubes. It should deaden the clang. I'll let you know if it works. I havent painted mine, but I did cut some heavy foam on my top bar then wrapped it with RT AP Camo Duct tape from Walmart and it has held up.

I have used rhino lining. It is DIY bed liner. Great for traction and for reducing unwanted clanging

I paint all of my ladderstands before putting them out as the Chinese paint jobs are always scratched and thin. It really helps the durability if you leave them out.

I use the dark gray primer Rustoleum as a base coat, and then two or three colors of flat black and camo paint to camo it up. It helps them blend in, and definately helps their longevity if you leave them on the tree.
