I need to find a safety system. I am thinking one of the vest type and was wondering if anyone had one they don't need.
Pretty sure it needs to be a XXL in size.
It is for a child that is dang near 6 feet tall and pushing 250#.
If I can't find one I will just buy a new one but WOW them suckers are high.
Thought I would try here first.
Thanks.

Hey Ruger check at walmart. They had the gorilla vest style on sale for around $40. There originally $50. Thats what i was going to buy but instead went with the HSS ultra lite.
Not trying to talk you out of the vest style but they are hot in bow season. I love my ultra lite. It was $100 on ebay but well worth it!

Hey Ruger I have a Hunter Safety System Pro I am willing to part with. This is the one with camo fabric and pockets on the front and mesh on the back. Has two adjustable buckles on the front and two adjustable leg straps. Also has a suspension relief strap and drag strap.
Used a couple of years and it worked fine - never needed it for a fall thank goodness. Just downsized to a HSS Ultra Lite so I can get more stuff in my backpack on my long walks in. It's an XL size and should fit your son fine (I'm 6' tall and go about 220 lbs).
These now sell for about $149 new at Bass Pro. Will ship to you for $50. Just let me know.

Ruger, Check out this link:
Big Game Safety Harness
I used HSS vest for years, but bought one of these last year and LOVED IT!!! The vest is nice, but heavy and bulky. This harness is lightweight, not as hot during bow season, fits under coats very nicely and is about HALF the price of anything like it on the market. Look at the positive reviews.
With prime, it ships free. If you are not a prime member, I can order it for you and have it shipped to your house. You can just paypal me the money or send me a check. Let me know if I can help you with it.

Ruger, give a serious look at the 20feetup harness. It is a significantly safer design than the HSS type of design that puts pressure on the legs as you face away from the tree—the 20feetup puts pressure on the bottom, which practically eliminates suspension trauma and you face the tree after the fall. Plus, the 20feetup is more comfortable and you don't have the strap getting in the way, or the risk of it getting around the neck or arm in a fall.
