The state of Washington has a reputation as a bastion of liberalism, but there are pockets of sanity even there. This video provides a fine example of how elected officials should (and should not) conduct themselves.

Maybe the Obama gun grab could end up being a good thing.

Great post Bambi, one of your better ones in my opinion. I would bet a weeks pay the vagina who walked out of the meeting would have been the first one to dive under the table if the shooting started; hell, if a baby was available he probably would hide behind it.

Washington is one of those States like Illinois that is basically held hostage by its major city. Just like liberal Chicago politics runs Illinois, so does liberal Seattle politics run Washington. Same thing with Oregon (Portland), Nevada (Las Vegas), Colorada (Denver). Central Washington and parts of Eastern Washington are very conservative areas of the country. Geographically, there is a lot more "red" country in those States than "blue" country. Lots of conservatives in those States, just way too many big city liberals there as well. Thankfully Tennessee, and Texas where I primarily live, do not have this same problem.

These servants are out of control.
Not only do Senators and congress critters assume they are royalty, but now simple city councilmen think they have the power to rule over and disarm citizens?

Thankfully Tennessee, and Texas where I primarily live, do not have this same problem.
Not yet, Memphis (Shelby Co) is blue along with Nashville (Davidson Co).
