I caught half a dozen with my fly rod Sunday morning, castng from shore at a park. Lovely!

You catching them in deep water it shallow ? Never tried fishing for them in winter , Just curious how you catch them this time of year, I may go try them myself

They were in 8-10 feet of water.. all but a few were caught on the bottom.. gold hook, splitshot, and red wiggler.. i ate another big batch of them tonight.. you cant beat them any time..specially in really cold water...
