You know how some people are sports car junkies? I'm that way about trucks. I've had a truck since 1997. A Ford Ranger for 2 yrs, and a Ford F150 after that. My next vehicle will be a truck, it's just a matter of which company. Hopefully I'll always have a truck.
Nyper, I've borrowed my brother's Chevy Tahoe. I liked it, and my wife liked it even more than me. I could see us getting one.

I had a Tahoe before this truck. I've had this truck about a year and a half, and I miss the Tahoe. Just a smooth ride with lots of inside room. Whenever we travel to my parents or to visit my wife's family... we take her SUV. It isn't as big as a Tahoe, and with me, her, the kid, a 90lb lab, and all the bags/gear for the kid, golf clubs, hunting gear... it gets crowded really quickly. We may add another kid to the rotation in the next year or two, and I think a bigger SUV would be nice. I have a feeling I'll just put a BakFlip tonneau cover on the truck and suck it up. Maybe I can talk her in to getting rid of hers and getting something bigger, although she hated driving the Tahoe. Oddly enough she likes driving my truck... she likey the Hemi! Keep the truck and put a cover on the bed. I just put one from Access Covers on my F250 this weekend. When my kids were little I had a Tacoma and put a camper top on it because of all the baby crap you speak of. I went a month or two without a truck a couple of years ago after I sold the one I had and before I found the one I wanted and I hated it.

I've owned 2 Tahoes over the past 13 years. I'm thinking about getting a truck, but still not sure since I've made due without one for so long. There are a few days a year when I really wish I had one. I love my Tahoe, though.

I drive a SUV daily, and have several trailers of varying sizes and capacities, but I don't think I could function without having a 4x4 "farm truck" at home for when it is needed.

I got my first truck in 1979. I am on my 5th one now. I see myself always having a truck. Its just a truck thing with me. When I was a boy, we always had a truck. I still remember my dads first new truck. It was a plain jane white Dodge regular cab, 3 on the tree with a straight six. All vinyl inside. When it got dirty inside, we'd take the water hose to it and in a few minutes it was good as new. I fell better when I drive my truck, I feel safer in my truck, I just love my truck. It's an evil Ford truck.

Wait they have vehicles besides trucks to drive? I had a sportscar when I was 16 for first car and 5 tickets later I bought a truck and have been in one ever since.
