I know they dont really care but how much $$ do you think walmart is losing on gun and ammo sales everyday? I have been to a few and had no luck

I just got home from AL and stopped at everyone one the way home just to see, they all looked the same.... EMPTY

You must have crappy walmarts. I bought 10 50 ct boxes of Remington 22 lr this morning and 6 boxes of American eagle 223 yesterday morning. 223 was $8 for box of 20. Remington was $2.17 /box. Dont get no cheaper than that. No price increase in 22s or 223s. They did limit me on the 223s.

You must have crappy walmarts. I bought 10 50 ct boxes of Remington 22 lr this morning and 6 boxes of American eagle 223 yesterday morning. 223 was $8 for box of 20. Remington was $2.17 /box. Dont get no cheaper than that. No price increase in 22s or 223s. They did limit me on the 223s.

If you went back there now you would think your Wal Mart is crappy as well as I would almost bet their shelves are now empty as well. You just got lucky and hit it right after they stocked.

Had to go to walmart earlier for some stuff so I stuck by my rule and swung by the gun dept.
EVERYTHING that is considered a pistol round is GONE.
ALL .17 HMRs are GONE.
Never seen anything like it.
They had some 22 shorts and magnums and some of the HIGH dollar Winchester centerfire stuff and that was it.
Amazing.

They had some, but very little. No 22, 9mm, 223, 357, 243, and very little 30o6. Not crappie Walmart LOL (they all are) just everyone through TN MS and AL anyway are buying it out. I wonder if all states are the same.......

Have you asked at the counter?my Walmart had empty shelves also. i asked when would they have ammo? They asked what I wanted. The have it in the floor behind the counter. Said it gets bought quick off the shelve. Keeps some from just buying because its there. At noon I was the first person to actually ask about 223 and it has been there all morning. Asked about the 22 this morning even though the shelve was empty. Lady had 30 boxes but no one asked. People Just looked at empty shelves and walked away.

Lady also told me that 9mm will be in late tonight and if no one asked for it I will buy it tomorrow.
