This isnt new, but I just got the call...
If you get a call 786-600-1360 (or any other number) saying they are from MicroPC Fix , it is a scam. They are trying to gain remote access to your computer by utilizing teamviewer.com. They will have you run msconfig which will tell you about your configuration settings. Many of these settings will be "stopped", which is what they should be...it is an attempt to prove to you that there is an error or virus on your computer that must be fixed. I just had fun waisting about 15 minutes of this jackarses time.

LOL i had someone like that one time call here and try that. well lets say they will never try that again. because i used one of my old computers with nothing left on it except windows 95.
Then while they was inside of it i sent them a virus that burnt up their hard drive and servers. it caused them over heat and then by the time they finely figured out something was wrong it was too late.
i learned that from computer class on how to get rid of viruses on my computer then it sends them one and busts them where they have to start over again.
