Anyone care to recommend a good bullet to try for a cva optima. Bought one a couple weeks ago new. Thought about trying the barnes with 777. Just looking for ideas gonna try a few but just looking for some advice

i shoot hornady 240 xtp over 100 grain powder shot several deer over last six years lost a couple but over all excellent results.

I shoot Hornady FPB's 350 grain sabotless........love em overall, pushing them with 100 grn White hots...... took both of these deer with them.

I shoot the Hornady SST 300 gr with 110 gr of 777 powder. Groups great and has plenty of knock down power. I killed 6 deer with that load this past season and had one go about 20 yds a nd fall the rest fall in their tracks.

My brother in law had one and shot 250 gr shockwave and 150 gr of pellets. It shot good.

I shoot cva apex 223 grain power belt 150 grain 777 pellets love it. brother n law has optima shoots same load as me he loves it
