Ive had a 4x4 tahoe as well as a utility trailer in my driveway for over 15 years.Before that,truck.

I had a truck from 1986 until 2006 (different trucks). I then sold the truck and bought a Hummer H3. Sucked pulling a boat, couldn't see the trailer when the boat was off. Couldn't haul mulch for landscaping. Had to have a rack to haul a deer on. Had to use a dang trailer with a tarp in it. Missed my truck at least 2 times a week. Drove the Hummer for 4 years and said screw it and bought my Tundra.
Haven't missed the Hummer at all.

I had a Tahoe before this truck. I've had this truck about a year and a half, and I miss the Tahoe. Just a smooth ride with lots of inside room. Whenever we travel to my parents or to visit my wife's family... we take her SUV. It isn't as big as a Tahoe, and with me, her, the kid, a 90lb lab, and all the bags/gear for the kid, golf clubs, hunting gear... it gets crowded really quickly. We may add another kid to the rotation in the next year or two, and I think a bigger SUV would be nice.
I have a feeling I'll just put a BakFlip tonneau cover on the truck and suck it up. Maybe I can talk her in to getting rid of hers and getting something bigger, although she hated driving the Tahoe. Oddly enough she likes driving my truck... she likey the Hemi!

It's kind of funny at work. The guys I go to lunch with a lot all have either SUV's or cars. One has a 4 door Jeep. When it is time to leave we meet outside. 90% of the time they are all standing by my truck for me to drive. They think my Tundra has more room in it than their vehicles.

I had nothing but trucks until 2003. I have been driving the same 2 door Tahoe since. I love my Tahoe, and it's a great vehicle, but I want a 4 door full size Chevy/Gmc so bad I can taste it. I will never be without a truck again. My wife drives a Suburban and loves it.
