In retrospect, it would now appear the Obama administration was just eagerly waiting for the next mass shooting to implement their pre-planned call for a ban on guns, starting with "assault rifles". Did they conveniently and erroneously assume the Sandy Hook tragedy was carried out by an assault rifle as they focused more on exploiting this tragedy rather than the tragedy itself? Never mind it now appears no assault rifle was used in this tragedy.
But this is what happens when a political agenda's narrative becomes more important than truth and realty. Real news and true journalism is being replaced with sensational deceit and pre-planned narratives, just waiting on a tragedy to exploit.
A phobia (from the Greek: φόβος, Phóbos, meaning "fear" or "morbid fear") is, when used in the context of clinical psychology, a type of anxiety disorder, usually defined as a persistent fear of an object or situation in which the sufferer commits to great lengths in avoiding, typically disproportional to the actual danger posed, often being recognized as irrational. In the event the phobia cannot be avoided entirely, the sufferer will endure the situation or object with marked distress and significant interference in social or occupational activities.
Does society have a "phobia" of guns?
What other reason is preventing the true facts and causes to be so ignored and swept under the rug? Why is most of the blame for tragedies such as Sandy Hook being placed on a particular item an evil person chooses to use as a weapon, rather than the evil person who commits the crime?

Anyone who thinks our government and media wouldn't conspire to further their agenda is a fool or an accomplice.
Bottom line: if the Democrat-media complex can turn an obvious missile strike into a mechanical failure and lose John Doe #2 to history, turning four handguns into an assault weapon and making a second shooter disappear is small beer.
