I beleive the woods I hunt have to many spikes. They are everywhere. Every time I try to draw back on what I thought was a doe I could see these little horns. they are also stupid. They run around the woods acting all jacked up on mountain dew or something. We need to put a stop to this kind of deer. You should have to kill a spike before shooting a buck larger than 7 pts.

Also what site do we actualy give input to the TWRA
Are you for real??

no just thought it was just as silly as saying I want to kill big bucks and for me to kill a bigger buck I want everyone else limited in the number of bucks they can kill. But that's a whole other thread(s)

This is a copy of the email that I just sent:

First of all, I would like to thank all of the TWRA officers and staff for all of the hard work that they put in to making TN a great state to hunt and fish in. As a Sportsman's license holder and the father of 2 Lifetime Sportsman's license holders, I would like to make a few comments about hunting season as outlined below.

Leave the Deer Season structure alone. Please do not reduce muzzleloader or rifle hunting days, as most hunters only have a select few days to hunt over the season as it is.

Please simplify the Unit A rifle Doe harvest regulations, as keeping up with which county is legal to harvest a doe in on day "x" becomes troublesome. A blanket doe harvest limit per county, per hunter, without restrictions on which days they could be harvested should simplify things and allow sportsmen more flexibility to manage local populations.

Please DO NOT consider trophy regulations, such as antler restrictions, reduced buck limits, etc. This fine state's deer herd was rebuilt by hunters, not "trophyists," and harvested age structure continues to improve over time through education and changes in sportsmen's habits, not restrictive regulations.

Legalize the use of .22 LR or Mag rifles for turkey season, as a head shot is already the norm with a shotgun, and a .22 would be a perfect weapon with minimal report and recoil to be used in the turkey woods. I understand that some Western states allow this practice.
