One of the comments says "At least he shot it with a Matthews" What does that mean? On one hand, it implies that the hunter could not have made the 22 yard shot lethal with any other brand of bow. On the other hand, and in a literal sense, it implies that "if he had to kill it with bow, at least it was a Matthews"
I'm guessing it's a Matthews fan boy sounding off. I'm new to archery and one thing I have really noticed is the intense brand cultism that seems to exist with quite a few bow hunters. Some guys act like they have a sponsorship from the maker of their bow.
Regardless, that is one incredible buck. I don't think it could get any better than taking such a great buck like that with a bow (free range, of course). Right now that is my ultimate hunting goal.
