Just a minute ago a coyote with the mange, no fur on tail etc, came into our backyard in broad daylight to have a couple bites of the leftover deer or filleted panfish I threw out behind the house days ago. He must have caught movement because he went and left quickly. I was already standing by the window taking pics of two doves in the yard so I got a couple pics of him. But they are still on the camera. Weird how a yote would come out at 1 pm to a neighborhood to eat old rotted scraps.

He must have gotten the memo on how BAD things have gotten. Get whatever he can whenever he can get it.

That is why they continue to overcome and multiply despite habitat loss, everyone and their brother taking pot shots at them, farmers poisoning them, etc. They make do with what they got and can get and complain to each other at night

Thats the reason coyotes and cockroaches will be the last animals on the plant, even counting humans.

I had one walk right up to my front porch and try to catch a chicken at 2pm last summer. I shot at it but it was running full speed by the time I got my gun up.
