Why does everyone want to store so much ammo now while it is temporally at inflated prices?

Stik is right. Obama's picture show with those kids last week is just the start of the fights that are coming.

Won't be long before, food, pre-1965 dimes and ammo are the only regular exchange currency. Even .22LR will have more worth than paper dollars.

A friend of mine was complaining to me that he just bought a 32 pistol, but couldn't find ammo for it......

he blamed everyone but who is truly to blame.....

The people are buying it so fast the manufacturers can't make it fast enough and with the NRA signing up more than 300,000 new members....well, there's lots of demand for the ammo.

Lots of people making serious money off this whole deal...gun and ammo manufaturers, gun and ammo sellers and of course, the NRA.

I wonder how many congressmen are getting paid to keep this scare going...?

I guess it'll all work out though, since everyone should have enough ammo to last a dozen years or more, so all the restocked ammo and guns may have to sit on the shelves for a while...

Again, some people are making some serious money right now....

BH I've often wondered that myself.... It wouldn't surprise me at all if the manufacturers haven't been sliding some extra $$$ under the table. But hey it's the crooked world we live in.... Make the best of it and move along. I'm slowly getting the ammo I want and not paying outrageous prices while doing so... I just hope all this ends soon and my boys can start shooting some coke cans in the creek again!!!

X2. If he broke a law or any company policy he should face consequences, otherwise he can spend his time and money however he wants. Can't blame the guy...If I had access to cheep ammo I'd likely buy it up too...and once I thought I had enough I might even sell some.

Ok I admit it.
When I worked at walmart I had to unload a truck one day and a nice Pioneer stereo system (cassette player and door speakers) came in along with a set of 6x9 speakers that were like 110 watts or something like that.
I wanted them both so I put them behind some stuff in the back room after they had been priced and when I got off work,,,,,, I bought them. \:\(

Sounded good too. ;\)
