That sucks.
That video is awesome, I'm not sure I wouldn't have taken the shot there.

well that sucks you found him dead, but at least you found him and have his rack to keep. Id say thats much better than not ever seeing him and wondering what happened or where he went. id say by those pictures he is 4.5.

Any idea what killed him? From where I found him, he could've been shot from the road or a neighboring property. I suppose he could've been hit by a car as well. He was lying right in the middle of a trail that went through a thicket. I hadn't walked the trail since last year, but I have stands at either end of it. I started to see an abundance of coyotes shortly after I took the video, but I attributed that to another road-killed buck a couple hundred yards from where I discovered this guy.

That stinks but at least you know he's dead instead of wondering when next season comes around and you don't see him or get any pics. Will make a cool euro mount.
