They might not ever but I don't trust it enough to chance it.

They will if there is anything learned after 20+ years of turkey hunting anything that isn't tied on, nailed down, or surgically attached will jump for freedom as soon as it gets a chance. I've never used the vest you speak of, but just have a lot of experience losing stuff in the turkey woods. It really is miraculous how fast stuff vanishes.

Yes, definitely carry extra strikers because those things leave first chance they get, usually right before a love sick gobbler starts hollering and I've left my box call at my last setup and ripped the reed on my mouth call...

I just have a cheap one. The thing that has made a big difference for me is this chair, the gobbler lounger:

http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-S...ch-All+Products

Last season started 3 months after I herniated a disc in my back and I would have never made it without this thing. I also use it to deer hunt some. Get a nice padded strap for it to carry around.

bought my son a super elite III a few years back from Bass Pro - seams were not sewn correctly & vest literaly came unravelled. Took back to Bass Pro they said would have to be returned to manufacturer after literally 20 calls to Mossy Oak apparel to no avail, had my wife sew it all back together

I tried several on last year at Bass Pro and just wasn't sold on them and ended up buying one from HS Strut at Walmart.

I have found that I fill up whatever pockets are available and never use most of the stuff I carry. I went to an Ol' Tom, vestless shirt last year and love it. It has a spine pad and the seat that hooks to your belt. I did have to get a belt pocket for a box call, but everything else will fit in the shirt pockets. Nice set up for run and gun.

I have a little big horn outdoors vest. Best I've owned. The shotgun holder strap on the shoulder has a metal bracket inside which makes it great for hands free calling with a slate. I have hunted with it about 5 years now. I just did some patch work sewing on the strap that had started to come undone. The company is out of business now. I guess i'll have to take real good care of it!
