I used them until I started making my own, IMO they are way over priced, there are several on the market that are as good without the premium price.

They sound good but I think my h.s strut calls sound just as nice with a lower price tag. Dont get me wrong there are some great callmakers out there that make better sounding calls than the mass produced calls. I always have used h.s strut to call my birds in and I dont wanna change anything.

Have y'all ever tried a wingbone? yeah and then lost the one call I made in the woods. Still need to make another one but have to kill another bird for the wings first.

Yes the Scott Ellis is brown with yellow its a bigger split v with wings trimmed. Took me a lil while to get used to the thicker tape.
On a side note yekrut on here makes a sweet sounding mouth call. Sounds as good if not better than the woodhaven. But easier to run.

I can owl hoot really well with my voice, but I never do it other than just to entertain folks at camp. In other words, I don't locate birds with an owl hoot period.
I cannot gobble with my natural voice, but with a 2 reed diaphram with no cuts in the latex I can gobble pretty darn good.

same here, i use a tube call to do it but a 2 reed or thin 3 reed i can use that as well.
I can however use the Palmer Owl call as a duck call lol
