I'd love to learn how to catch walleye in my neck of the woods. I haven't the first clue though; just wanted to tag this thread. I hope you get some response.

Jig for them just like you would sauger, mouths of creeks on the Cumberland. Use a heavy enough jig so that you can drift with the current and keep your line vertical. Try the jig with plastic trailer or minnow.

I'd say the Douglas fish are above Rankin for the time being.
