I use floro quite abit I get the cheaper seaguars red label at academy I have had 0 issues with it breaking like most say you will. I tie a palomar knot and always make sure you lubricate the line before you cinch it tight and that should help your problem

I also use the palomar knot. It's the only knot I know/use. It's worked for me so far. I don't lubricate the line,though...I know I should, but I don't.

With lighter line I can't get it to cinch up right without wetting it.

Some dude was fishing as I was leaving and gave me the only fish he had to add to my mess. Thought that was pretty cool.
