I know they have mountains of buying power & could or have probably sway decisions with thier money, but why should we realy care if they ever sell another single round of ammo, people got by for years buying ammo at local stores, farmers co-ops & gas stations, I mite walk into a WM twice a year & havent done without anything so far.

Just curious what some of ya'll have to say, not look'n for a squirt'n contest but just your thoughts.

I don't care...I hate going to Walmart and the only time I go now is if I just can't think of anywhere else that may have what I want... In fact I hope them not doing it makes the local guy do a better business...

.but with the Internet I haven't bought the first ammo locally in 6 years until last two weeks. I found a case of pmc 9mm ., a box of 22wmr. And 5 boxes of 10mm. Haha nobody hardly has a 10mm it seems I'm finding ammo kinda easy for it.

Did something come out where they admited they are not selling ammo anymore? I heard a lot of rumor and hearsay on here, but no concrete evidence they were not sellign anymore. when i asked the guys that usually do not bite their tongues in sporting goods they said they get some in, but the manufactures cannot keep up with demand.

Academy and Dicks said the same thing about the manufactures.

What difference does it matter if they do sell ammo? the more places that sell it the better the prices will be for the buyer. If you dont want to shop somewhere thats your choice but I like to have a wide range of places to shop.I will pay the going rate + a little more if im in a rush or its to far to go elsewhere. On a big ticket item I shop around til i find what I think is the best deal & dont care what the name on the door is jmo

Whats got me on the subject is it seems to be quite a topic, sevral post a week on sevral sites, quite a few people have brought it up lately.

I've paid higher prices at small mom & pop stores years ago & complained about it then, but now days rather them have my cash as the big blue god of cheap stuff, WM has done their fair share to put a whoop'n on the mom & pop places & put a bunch of them of biz & this includes gas stations, grocery stores, sporting goods & hardware stores.

That's what WM does. They move in, run the ma & pa stores out of business and then control the whole market.

At that point they have all the power and are the retail wing of any political power.

Think about THAT. They represent the vast majority of most peoples retail and grocery expenses. That is more powerful than what washington takes in from your taxes. A LOT more.

Walmart is a major player behind the scenes in politics.
