Academy had a meat slicer marked down from $99 to $55 if you make your own jerky.

Maybe I should give Academy another try, but I wasn't impressed last time I was there. They didn't have half of what I needed. Horrible muzzleloader section.

Well used the Academy card today and didn't get a single thing for myself! The kids each got a case of their favorite cliff bars and a new soccer ball each. Maybe I can find me something next time with my $7 left on my card!

Best way to spend it 
I got to thinking after I saw you at Gander with WGK you had posted before you were working on losing weight. Did you lose ALOT? That and seeing you away from your house is why it took me a minute....

Yeah lost 41 lbs but have put about 10 back on! I always gain some during the winter time anyway though.

I never needed help spending mine. They don't expire so something would always come along sooner or later. This year I bought ammo with most of mine.
