Well I am a strong believer of politicians kids are off limits, but I have seen the add it is not talking about the kids just the protecting of his kids vs the protecting of your kids. There is a big difference. Now if his kids were packing or not that is not any of our business.

They simply pointed out that the Presidents childern went to schools where ARMED GUARDS protected them 24/7/365.

Who's using children? Who used kids to drum up emotional suport for gun control? Maybe if you fell so strongly about your kids having to be protected because of your job, you might be able to see why us law abiding citizens want to protect our children with our guns since we can't afford private protection. sorry for spelling not my stronge suit.

Had the ad said , ABC, JKL, and XYZ schools already have armed guards, and they cater to the children of the Washington Political elites, then the objections to the ads would not exist. It is the singling out of the children of so and so, and so and so, that is the issue.
This is especially true since the school that Mr. Obama's children attend already had 11 armed guards on staff in addition to the secret service agents that are currently assigned there for the children.
