My wife and I headed out about a week and half ago to do a little scouting. It was a pretty slow evening but we ended up seeing 8 bucks and 3 does from the Tree House... a couple pretty nice ones!

Nice bachlor group you have there - about half way through it looked like that one buck busted you a little bit - popped up and took a look right at you LOL -

Ferg... funny that you mention that. The first buck that came into the field was a small spike by himself. He fed for a while but when the other deer started showing up he headed up towards our stand and then fed in the clearcut while the other bucks fed in the clover. I think that was the point when the small buck stepped out in the road by the tree house and that buck spotted him. Then again, he could have just been looking at us and the big camera taking pictures of him... 
I wish they were as carefree when they lose their velvet and the season comes in!
