G5, Bear, Hoyt, PSE, Mathews, Quest, Martin, Elite, High Country, Parker, Bowtech.
Most people are just going to say whatever brand they own.
I'd going to throw a twist to this.
Best I ever shot was a Mathews. Best I could afford that I liked is a Bear.

I have an Elite, but I'm new as a kindergartener to it. At the risk of sounding too tongue-in-cheek, I'd say the best bow is the one that feels the best to you when you drop a buck.

Let me give you the logical answer to your question. The best bow to buy is whatever the closest dealer to you sells, therefor can be a short distance to do anykind of warranty work on the bow u buy. I love bowtech's bows but my shop doesnt carry them so I shoot my second favorite Mathews. If u shoot your bow more than a few times before the season chances are u are gona need some warranty work. Bushings, cracked limb, housings, etc. Things ur dealer cant do unless is the manufactur he sells. Try and stay away from commercial bussines' like Dicks or Gander Mt. They know partly what theyre doing but dont take time to make it precise.. If your in line at my shop 3 deep, your gona be there a while.
