Black corrugated plastic like they use on For Sale signs work good. It's not very expensive and can be found at sign makers shops. It can be painted over and holds the paint pretty well. It'll keep it light for you but not alot of insulation though.

Would you be interested in hiring someone to build you one? From start to finish ? I can give you pricing and draw you a set of plans to review to approve prior to construction.?

Pre-fab it all using screws, number and dismantle it, and then you can haul up piece by piece reassembling it. Weight won't be such a big factor by doing so.

Are u looking to build both for 1200? Or 1200 each? You can view the last one i built and the latest one i have started on this forum. Now i can build you one with the same exterior look for around 1200 each but you wont have the enterior finish as these for that price as alot of labor and materials was poured into these. If you dont wont full size staircase and porch knock 200 off and youll be at 1k each. But if you want to add some of the interior features that i have we could possible work close to 1200.00. Not insulated. Insulation will run you an extra 225.00 which would put you at around 1400.00. And of course id throw a few little bonus features in there free of charge with your prior approval of course. Solid color painting included. 150.00 extra charge for delivery and set up which can be completed in one full day

Go to http://www.huntersdeerblind.com and check his plans out on bldg one it explains from step 1 from buying what lumber u need to driving the last nail. I think the cost for one like you are talking about is around $800 for everything.

Corrugated plastic comes in 4x8 sheets and some container corporations use them....this stuff can be used economically to build shooting houses and is very durable.....the place near here is no longer in business but I know it exists and the stuff works well.

I just put some corrugated plastic on a stand and it worked well. I have one I painted 6 years ago with regular cheap latex paint from Wal-Mart and it hasn't flaked any at all. It holds the paint very well and makes for a light stand when trying to stand up.
