The silver lab is registered as a chocolate. They are a full blooded lab with all the intelligents, they are just a different color. AKC doesn't reconize the silver, but some breeders are working with AKC to reconize the silver as it's own color. Just like the yellow lab, you have different shades, even white. I have argued for years with know-it-all folks that say it's not a lab or something else. The silver comes from a recessive gene to form that color. I know this because I own a silver lab and she is as smart as my black lab and my yellow lab. He may not want to publicly price one because usually they are more expensive because of the rare color. I didn't mean to hijack the thread, just trying to clear the air.

The white ones are GHOST, only appear when you call them otherwise nobody ever sees them.

I have spoken with the guy he is very nice and knowledgeable about his labs. Yes, the silver falls under the chocolate umbrella. On the papers it will say choc not silver I am sure.
