During a DP class i attended ..This specific malfunction was actually discussed which prompted me to rotate my mags so as not load and unload the same few rounds over and over.

I do not unload mine unless I am cleaning the weapon. It stays in my holster and gets put away if I need to take it off for some reason or am going to bed. When I go to the range I fire the rounds in my magazine before switching to ball rounds.

I did. Some states have HCP. Others have CCW or CCDW. I'm sure it's okay for you to read it, too.
