Yup, it's hard to believe they trademarked a vegetable, though. It is genius to think they have a monopoly on a widespread vegetable. And nobody but subsidiaries of their company is allowed to grow it! It definitely sux, but it's genius.

Well, it's a year later, and I'm getting better at "faux" broccolini. There are no commercial seeds for broccolini, but I'm growing three hybrids between broccoli and kale that are all excellent.

I'm still harvesting because I have them covered with a clear tarp over winter. It's kind of cool that I picked this stuff in the middle of an ice storm. They'll last almost until I replant more in February.

This stuff is delicious. You have to try it.

They sell it in the big grocery stores in Nashville but I'm not sure where else. It's just better than broccoli IMO - In fact, I'm not even a big fan of regular broccoli. This stuff is softer and sweeter. Give it a shot if you see it.
