Why not get one chamber for .223? That way you can shoot the Nato 5.56 rounds...it doesnt work the other way around, as I understand it

The 5.56 will shoot both but the .223 will only shoot .223

Go to dpms find what you want and have a ffl licensed person but for yoy. They have several for 700 to 1000 dollars

Unfortunately true...
Expect to pay at least $1300-1500.
Even DPMS Oracles that were selling for less than $700 in early December are going for $1500 IF you can find them.
Hopefully this lunacy will end soon and prices will go down.

I bought a rock river arms lower with a spikes upper this weekend with magpul funiture for 750. Not impossible to find a good deal but the odds are no where near in your favor.

I seen several rifles for sale on govdeals.com that is where most of the tn police deptartments auction off seized/confiscated items. but keep in mind though you have to have somebody buy it for you if you are not a ffl licensed person. Its a bidding process but seen an sks sell for 475 just the other day.

Yea; I was able to get my hands on a 223/5.56 Colt 9620 the other day new at Academy. It want leave my safe for less than $4000 right now.
