I think I already know the answer to this but just seeing if there is any exceptions to surrounding counties.
My Dad has some land in Jackson County Alabama. If I kill a deer there, do I have to process it before I can bring it back to the house here in TN? Or am I ok just to bring it back since it's right on the border of TN/AL?
What is the definition of process?
Also, I dont have to tag does in Alabama. What do I need to do to be safe coming back?

There are no processing requirements unless it is coming from a CWD positive state. Alabama is not one of those states.
My suggestion is to document any way possible that you were actually in Alabama during the period that you are hunting there. I would keep any time dated receipts that would verify you were in Alabama with the deer were killed. And, of course, you will need to have a valid Alabama license.

Sweet! Thanks, I'm glad I asked cause my assumption was wrong. I was worried about being able to process effectively at night with no electricity.
