Any idea how I can find a person's

birth city? I need to find where someone was born for a passport...this person, while physically alive is indisposed. Any ideas how I can find out?

Birth certificate would probably be only way.
If you have power of attorney, you could probably get a copy, but even then you would need to know what state.
No living relatives?

Have you tried Google ??County court house ?? If you know their name and some family members names there are several sites like ancestry.com that likely will have the info.

It's my former wife...not sure what planet she's on much less where she was born :D...nobody else to contact. Son needs a passport for his honeymoon and she has not responded to me...getting down to the wire so I've got to find out for him.

Did she not have to show a birth certificate to get a wedding license ??It may be on record in the courthouse you obtained the wedding license from. or in the courthouse your son birth is recorded at.

Coach if you know what state(which should be on sons bc) you can get the info from vital records. If not you may also be able to contact social security office I think that info is also kept on there system.

I know she was born in Michigan...I've tried accessing some of those sites with no luck. I really don't want to pay for the info if I don't have to...I tried the courthouse in the county I thought and they said they would only give the info to her
