How can a state pass laws that would be held as an enfringement of the second ammendment? I thought the federal law would be the standard or am I missing something?

Several class action lawsuits pending.
Of course there are also several lawsuits pending on the 16oz soda draconian law and they are not gaining much traction.
My advise is MOVE NOW!
Texas is looking good.

Tyranny tries to trample everything in its path.
And people support it fully as long as it does not effect THEIR guns.

I think more like ... their HANDOUTS. But yes, there are the appeasers as well. Neville Chamberlain would be PROUD.

All our laws are elective now due to the selective enforcement of our executive branch. If a state law infringes on a minority, illegal alien, drug user, homosexual, any number of other protected class citizens then the federal government immediately becomes involved.
If the state law infringes on constitutional rights of a citizen not in a protected class - white, Christian, heterosexual, military, etc. there's no harm, no foul according to the feds.

This is one of the strengths the antis have right now. They have gun owners who are supporting assault weapon and high capacity bans. This is dividing our numbers and dangerous. They don't have since enough to know that once the fox gets in the hen house, he will want to eat all the chickens.

I sit in a duck blind with a guy that questions why anyone needs a large cap clip.
