That does look good. I have had(well bought) Memphis BBQ 4 times since I moved here 3 years ago(Commissary, Fat Larys, Neeleys, and Corkys). Commissary was best but no outstanding. Corkys was just bad. I have kind of given up on Memphis BBQ and cooked my own the last several thimes I wanted it.
However, I do have the craving today and after working all night, I think I will try Central BBQ for lunch today.
Am I missing something when it comes to Memphis BBQ? Any recommendations?
If you want a sandwich...go to Payne's.

never even heard of Paynes...its not exactly close to me, but I might give it a try if I am ever down that way.
didn't make it to Central yesterday, I forgot I had a Birthday party to go to. Maybe Today. I'll add a pork plate to my order.
The best BBQ I have ever eaten was in Oklahoma.

I drove by it for about 8 years before finally stepping in the door the first time. There are so many hole-in-the-wall places you've never heard about that'll make you wonder what you've been eating all this time.

Me too. I only live about 2-3 miles away from there at North Parkway and McLean and drove by it every day on the way to work when I worked at Hershey and I've never been. I know when I got off at 1:30 p.m. everyday and drove by it going home, the parking lot was always full and there would be several MPD officers there eating.
