Sorry. That's for 130gr. Hornady manual says 47.4 of 4350 at 2500 fps. Max is 52.5 at 2800. 4831 min is 48.1 at 2500 fps and max is 53.8 at 2800 fps. Hope that gives you an idea

Have you tried RL-17 in your .270? A little off topic but may give you a bit more velocity.

I would start by seating a little off the lands on my OAL. The manual OALs are usually just SAAMI spec, and are "suggestions." Smoke or mark your bullet with a marker, insert it long in an unsized case (probably will have to bend the neck slightly jsut to get it to hold), then carfeully place in the rifle and close the bolt. This will seat the bullet to lands depth for a measurement, and you can adjust from there.

or spend a few buck and buy the tool and a bullet comparator
best way to do it however the above woks fine
.010 off lands usually always produce great groups
