Not sure what I'm looking at here. When I flipped through these pix I thought these were coyotes, but when I really looked at them I changed my mind. I believe that first two are gray foxes or more likely pix of the same fox (they were taken several days apart). The third one looks as if it may be a red fox. Can someone give me a positive ID on these guys?

You got it. The first two are definitely gray foxes while the third is definitely a red fox. Were you using bait?
I get a lot of both but don't think I've ever gotten both species at the same site in the same set. Very cool!

Thanks, guys. Just wanted to be sure that I wasn't imagining things.
Gil, no, I don't have any bait out right now. During the off-season I do use corn there to draw the deer in for photo sessions. But the spot where those critters are standing is where I put the salt and trophy rock. The deer have made a small hole there and even though the blocks have dissolved, that little puddle is salty water. The wild guys seem to like it.
That spot is only 150 yards or so from my house and maybe 75-100 yards from my neighbor's house. Of course most of the activity is at night, but it is really amazing the animals that show up there.
This fall has been especially active. A few months ago I got a very good picture of a bobcat that I posted here. (S)he appeared again in this last batch of shots.
This group of pictures covers about a month. It includes pictures of the bobcat, foxes, possums, coons, squirrels, rabbits, crows, and deer. About the only thing missing is coyotes, but I get one of them occassionally, too.
Didn't mean to get so long-winded, but I really enjoy this stuff.

One thing that is always a dead give away on a red fox is the tip of the tail. They all have a white tip.
