I agree up to a point. The "we" needs to be changed to "they". I didn't elect Dumbo.

Because we continue to re-elect DC elitists or those that want to be DC elitists. None have the nads to stand up to him. It's up to the citizens- we'll see what happens. I doubt anything but our own demise.
100% correct here. There is no real difference between the 2 parties any more. I think they just play us all for fools, as they go back and forth, but changing nothing that entrenches themselves deeper in DC.
Both are spendaholics, neither will will make the tough choices, both will spend tax dollars wastefully to get themselves re-elected, all are a disserves to the men that created the positions they now hold.

Yup, here'stThe proof
House panel blocks most GOP attempts to trim Sandy disaster-relief bill
The Republican-led House Rules Committee late Monday approved a rule for a massive Hurricane Sandy relief package that shuts out most GOP proposals to pare back the size of the bill.
The main bill provides $17 billion in relief, and an amendment made in order would add another $33.7 billion, for a total of $50.7 billion.
Late last week, Republicans offered amendments that would trim the bill significantly, but few of those were made "in order" by the Rules Committee on Monday. For example, Rep. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.) proposed amendments that would have slashed $22 billion from the total package, but none of them were accepted by the committee.
And Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) proposed several amendments that would have cut more than $300 million from the bill. House Rules made just one of these in order — to cut $13 million in funding to "accelerate the National Weather Service ground readiness project."
All told, Republican amendments were made in order that would cut less than $200 million from the $50.7 billion package. One of these, from Rep. Bill Flores (R-Texas), would cut $150 million for Regional Ocean Partnership grants.

Bill Clinton almost got impeached for too much action on the side. Why has Obama not gotten axed for DESTROYING this great nation?
No, Clinton DID get impeached for getting action on the clock, on the job, and on the grounds of his employer, while ordering missile barrages on foreign countries and allowing US troops to be moved into harm's way by NATO and the UN. But he was not removed from office, and that is greatly because many of the Republicans refused to hold him accountable for his actions due to public backlash. How much more difficult is it now with the power of the Obama political machine, powered by the interenet, driven by emotion, and held up by a Democratic Senate?

obama would have to be convicted by two-thirds majority of the Senate. Ain't happening. If some of the guesses going around about amnesty to the illegals goes through, there will never be another conservative elected President. Ever. Talk about leaving a legacy...

The South will rise again.
I was mocked several months ago for saying this, now we are closer than ever.

But yes, your question is on the mark.

After someone is impeached, how are they removed from office? Congressional vote?

The House of Representitives votes on impeachment proceedings, the Senate holds trial and determines guilt.
Think of the House being like Grand Jury that hands down an indictment--the impeachment.
If the Senate sees merit in the impeachment, they can pick it up and go to trial. After the trial, the Senate determines guilt or innocence. The penalty for guilty is removal from office.
Clinton was impeached by the House, but the Senate never held a trial.
