comfort and efficient space/pockets as well as weight and how hot it is.

I use the original Little Big Horn vest with the built in frame and not sure i could ever use something else. It is a tad heavy but makes up for it in comfort.

There are few hunts i have a vest on the whole time, most times I need to move quickly and i just ditch the vest to lighten my load.

The turkey lounger is a tad heavy and a tad hot, but the extra comfort is well worth it IMO.

I have a super elite II and had the regular super elite before it. Both are just good all around vest. Maybe a little heavy, but I have had mine for years and like them.

I am currently using an older model Tarantula vest, made in Utah. I think they went out of business or were bought out, thus no longer available. There was a day that I had to have the latest and greatest vest with 100 pockets to carry every call and gadget known to man, and a cushion, but not anymore. My hunting style does not warrant it. I run and gun and get pretty aggressive when chasing turkeys, so lightweight and simple works for me. My suggestion is a vest that is made well, lightweight, simple, yet effective and capable of carrying what you consider essential for a typical turkey hunt. This will vary amongst hunters. Some turkey hunters think their entire hunting closet is essential, thus warranting some of the more elaborate vest styles that accommodate all the stuff. Best of luck in your choice.

Same here, don't know where it falls in the pocket size discussion, but after owning every vest imaginable the Tatr II is hands down the best I have ever worn.

I have the Super Elite III Treklite vest. The Treklite material is lighter and more breathable than the material on the regular Super Elite III. I really like it for warmer hunts.

The Super Elite III Treklite is 100% polyester.

The regular Super Elite III has a shell that is 60% Cotton/40% Polyester and a lining that is 65% Polyester/35%Cotton

I have considered getting the Cabela's one no telling how many times. I have used a RedHead Striker for more years than I can remember. I really like it except the place it has for strikers isn't a pocket. It just has elastic loops then a flap that goes over them. The strikers could fall out the bottom. They might not ever but I don't trust it enough to chance it.
