What are some features in a turkey vest that you prefer? Big Pockets or Small Pockets? Which brand do you prefer? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have cabelas vest but I like the primos to. a mixture of both big and small most have a big pocket on each side then some smaller pockets. mainly you just want a comfortable vest good seat and some padding in the back isn't a bad idea.

redhead turkey lounger. Will never use another vest with just a butt seat and back pad. Set up anywhere with back support. Don't need a tree.

I have never paid for a vest until last year and gave $20 for it. It had magnets holding the pockets together.

I suggest looking for light weight and very simple, and its gotta have room to hold a bottle or two of water. Too many pockets equals too many gadgets. Of course my turkey hunting style is simple, so a fancier vest may be needed if your style is more complicated than mine.

Same here, don't know where it falls in the pocket size discussion, but after owning every vest imaginable the Tatr II is hands down the best I have ever worn.
