Our 8 year old daughter got her 2nd deer of the year a doe this evening. She got her first buck this year in Kentucky during the juvenile season. Tough season for us this year. We seen 4 deer all weekend and our oldest daughter hunted hard this weekend and did not see a deer. Oldest is 11 year old and has already taken 15 deer but did not get one this season. She has already set a goal of 6 deer for next year.

Ours did terrible. We went and spent the night Friday night and my daughter woke up in the middle of the night barfing on me. Took the other guy and daughter out and they saw nothing that morning and one deer right at dark Saturday afternoon. Wrecked my truck that morning and blew the windshied out of my golf cart on the way home. Worst trip in a long time!!!

It was tough with the weather. Saw one doe but it was too far for my liitle boy to shoot. Sad that deer season is now closed. Can't wait for it to start all over again.

That looks like an old deer. was it a scoreable 6 pt? what county?

Well both kids i took got shots off Satuday on the Tipton Co. farm and saw 8 or 10 does. Neither scored, but we had a great time. Sunday was a total wash. Went to hunt the same farm in Tipton Co. and it was 80% under water. We retreated back to hunt my spot in Lauderdale Co. and all we saw was a Bobcat. Sad to see the season go but look forward to shed hunting and scouting for next year.

That looks like an old deer. was it a scoreable 6 pt? what county?
He has no teeth down the sides so once I get him back I'll have him aged but yes he is old. The right browtine is short but can hang a ring in it. May not be an inch but I counted it. Killed in Rutherford county.
