Please read the article at the link, which is as valid today as when it was published in 2009, especially the final paragraph. Keep it in mind during the current media blitz to redeem, revise and resurrect the image of Stanley McChrystal. He has the blood of many courageous Americans on his hands.

This is the same general that claims to have sworn to uphold the Constitution, but thinks there needs to be strict gun control? And I'll bet he thinks he should get to keep his firearms.

Speaking of Afghanistan and ignorant rules of engagement; when is the last time you heard anything about Green on Blue violence over there? Seems those news stories dried right up, and I'm quite sure the rodents perpetuating that crap didn't decide to cease fire.

Roughly a week ago. See link. First one this year; probably many more to come.

For a long time, the military went to great lengths to cover them up, and still would if they thought they could get away with it. Now that so much attention has been called to it, it is much harder for them to keep it under wraps. There are usually a lot of witnesses, and try as they will, the chain of command has a difficult time keeping them all quiet. Even the threat of court martial does not mean much to a soldier who saw his best friend murdered and was himself gravely wounded by one of our supposed "partners." He's eventually going to tell someone what really happened.

I'd like to think General Patton would have just bitchslapped him. (Can I say that here?)
